Allyance currently offers in-person support in Charlottesville, Virginia. We will expand in-person support to more cities in the future. Examples of in-person support include:
- Picking up dry-cleaning
- Delivering an item to a colleague/friend
- Picking up a car at work and taking it for an oil change
- And much more
In-person requests tend to require more Minutes than virtual requests, as they must account for an Ally's travel time from point A to point B to complete the request. We we also charge a mileage fee of $0.50 / mile for the miles driven by your Ally, which is deducted from your Minute account balance (1 mile = 1 Minute).
At this time, we are available to offer help with errands on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9 - 5 pm. Errands requested outside of normal business hours or on other days of the week will, by default, be run on Tuesdays and Thursdays unless you make it clear they are urgent. We can support you in running urgent errands, but like other urgent requests, they will be billed at a rate of 2X normal Minute costs. We look forward to the one day soon increasing the number of days per week we offer non-urgent errand support.
